Today is my anniversary at FCA. I started this job 20 years ago...hard to believe it has been so long! Only 14 more years until I can retire!

Christmas Lights
For years I have wanted to put lights in the trees in the front yard - but until last year, we never wanted to deal with getting the cords run out to the trees. Then, last year, while I was traveling in December, Staci surprised me by putting lights up in one of the trees. So, this year, I decided to forge ahead and put them up in both trees (along with the normal lights on the house and the bushes). It was a big job - and even though I was up on a big ladder - I still could only reach about half-way up the branches... next year I need to use a hook to try and get the lights up higher. But - they still looked pretty good!
Christmas
Christmas morning was nice - we slept in and then got up and ate breakfast and talked to family on the phone for a while. Then, we sat around the Christmas tree in the family room and opened our gifts. Dustin was happy to help too!
2009 Ornaments
These are the ornaments that I painted this year for the nieces and nephews for Christmas ... hope they all enjoyed them. I think they turned out cute.
November in Lincoln
Okay - sorry it has been a while - things were a little crazy with traveling for 6 weeks from October through early December... a different place each week (San Antonio, Denver, Salt Lake, McLean, Missoula, and Minneapolis)... and then Christmas. But - we got the Christmas stuff cleaned up now and I can get caught up some!
So - these were some of my roses in the front yard on November 14. They were so pretty!
This was a pretty hybiscus flower from the back yard - all the other flowers were normal - but it was a double blossom:
